Our verdict
Useful for small teams that run paid social or display ads and need many sized variations fast. The $39 Starter plan only covers 20 downloads a month, so most active advertisers will look at Professional at $249. The trial needs a card and auto-renews, and refunds are only for accounts that never used the service, so set a reminder before day 7.
- Best for
- Small ecommerce brands, PPC freelancers and agencies that already spend on Meta or Google ads and want quick ad variations to test
- Skip if
- Owners who run one or two ads a month, anyone who needs full design control, or buyers who want a trial without a credit card
- Price
- Starter $39/month (20 credits) or $20/month billed yearly; Professional $249/month (300 credits) or $125/month yearly; Ultimate $999/month; Enterprise custom. 7-day free trial, card required
What works
- Generates ads in many sizes, plus headlines and copy, from your brand assets
- Generation is unlimited; you only spend a credit when you download
- Yearly billing halves the monthly price on every plan
- G2 reviewers rate it 4.3 out of 5 and mainly praise speed and ease of use
What doesn't
- Starter is limited to 20 downloads, 1 brand and 1 user a month
- Card required for the trial, and it renews automatically into the plan you picked
- Refunds only if you never used the service; unused credits expire each cycle
- About a third of Trustpilot reviews are 1-star, mostly over charges and slow refunds
We have not used AdCreative.ai for our own ads. This AdCreative.ai review is built from the pricing section on AdCreative.ai's homepage, its help center and refund page, two independent 2026 pricing breakdowns and public user reviews on Trustpilot, G2 and Software Advice, all checked on October 26, 2026. Sources are listed at the end.
The short version: AdCreative.ai turns your logo, colors, product photos and a short brief into batches of ad images and copy in many sizes. It's quick, and reviewers on G2 like it. But the $39 plan buys only 20 downloads a month, the trial needs a credit card, and most of the angry reviews are about being charged after a trial.
What AdCreative.ai does
AdCreative.ai is an AI tool for making ads, not a general design app. According to the vendor, you set up a brand (logo, colors, fonts), add a product or a website URL, and it generates ad creatives sized for Meta, Google and other networks, along with headlines and ad text.
Its feature menu also lists product photoshoots, AI video and UGC-style video, "Creative Scoring" (an AI prediction of how an ad might perform before you spend on it), Competitor Insights and a Compliance Checker. Ad platform integrations are listed on every plan.
Since early 2025 it has been owned by Appier, a Taiwanese ad-tech company. Appier announced the deal on February 12, 2025, valued at up to $38.7 million, and the site now says "an Appier group company" next to the logo.

How credits work, and why they matter more than the price
This is the part to understand before you sign up. On AdCreative.ai:
- Generating is unlimited. You can create as many variations as you like.
- Downloading costs one credit. Each creative you download uses a credit.
- Credits expire. The refund page says credits "expire at the end of each billing cycle and do not roll over."
So the real question is how many finished ads you need each month. A store testing 3 products across 4 ad sizes with 2 variations each needs 24 downloads, which is already over the Starter plan.
What AdCreative.ai costs in 2026: price per plan and per download
These figures come from the pricing section on AdCreative.ai's homepage on October 26, 2026. It has no separate pricing page; the old /pricing address returns an error. Each plan has a credit slider; the table shows the lowest option.
| Plan | Monthly billing | Quarterly (per month) | Yearly (per month) | Credits/month | Brands | Users |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $39 | $29 | $20 | 20 | 1 | 1 |
| Professional | $249 | $185 | $125 | 300 | 10 (one block says 3) | 10 |
| Ultimate | $999 | $749 | $500 | 300 | 25 (one block says 5) | 20 |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | Custom | Tailored | Custom | Custom |
More credits cost more:
- Starter: 50, 85 or 120 credits for $89, $139 or $189 a month on monthly billing.
- Professional: 450 or 600 credits for $339 or $400 a month.
- Ultimate: 450 or 600 credits for $1,099 or $1,399 a month.
Quarterly billing is listed at 25% off and yearly at 50% off. Yearly plans are billed up front: Starter comes to about $240 and Professional to about $1,500 a year.
Cost per download on the base options, monthly billing: about $1.95 on Starter and $0.83 on Professional. On yearly billing that drops to roughly $1.00 and $0.42. Ultimate costs more per download than Professional; you pay for brands, seats and features, not volume.
Two warnings about these numbers. First, the page contradicts itself on brand limits, as noted in the table. Second, credit allowances changed during 2026. Atria's August 2026 breakdown listed 10, 50 and 100 credits for the same three prices. UGCGen's October 20 check matches the page as we read it. Confirm the credits on the checkout screen.
Which plan includes video and Creative Scoring
The homepage feature lists don't make this clear. Starter lists all AI image assets, unlimited generations, ad platform integrations, stock photos, Creative Insights and competitor insights, but no video. Professional adds "Pro Features" and the mobile app. The fullest list, with ad videos, product videos, batch creatives, the compliance checker, Creative Scoring and fine-tuning, sits on the Ultimate card. Atria's breakdown says product videos start on Professional. If video is the reason you're buying, check it during the trial.
The free trial, cancellation and refunds
AdCreative.ai offers a 7-day free trial and says "Cancel anytime." There's no free plan.
- Card required. The help center says a card is required at sign-up and "you won't be charged during the 7-day trial period."
- It renews into the plan you chose. If you don't cancel before day 7, you're billed for that plan. The refund page adds that subscriptions renew automatically on the same plan.
- Refunds are narrow. You may get a refund only if "you subscribed but did not use the service at all" and you ask within 7 days on a monthly plan or 30 days on an annual plan. No refund for used accounts, deleted accounts, or unused or expired credits.
- Timing. Approved refunds are "usually" issued within 2 to 3 weeks, per the refund page.
In practice, if you download even a few ads during the trial and forget to cancel, you've probably paid for the month. Pick Starter at checkout unless you're sure you need more, and cancel a day early if you're not convinced.
What users praise
Patterns across G2 and Trustpilot:
- Speed. G2 reviewers (4.3 out of 5, around 790 reviews) most often mention how fast it produces usable ad sets and how much design time it saves.
- Ease of use. Reviewers say non-designers can get publishable ads without learning a design tool.
- Many sizes at once. Getting the same idea in every placement size is a common reason people stay.
- Support staff. Trustpilot's summary notes many reviewers describe the support team as responsive, and several name individual agents.
What users complain about
- Charges after the trial. This is the biggest theme. Trustpilot shows 3.5 out of 5 from 4,614 reviews, with 56% 5-star and 32% 1-star. Its summary says some reviewers "were not happy with sudden and unexpected charges." Software Advice reviewers (3.3 overall, 3.1 for value) describe the same thing, including one who said the reminder email landed in spam.
- Slow refunds. Trustpilot's summary mentions people "waiting many weeks or even months" for approved refunds.
- Generic designs. Several reviews say some outputs look template-like and need editing before they're usable.
- Limited editing. Users who want precise layout control find the editor restrictive compared with a design tool.
Is AdCreative.ai legit? Yes: it's a real product owned by the ad-tech company Appier, with thousands of public reviews. The complaints are mostly about billing terms, not about the service failing to exist or deliver.
AdCreative.ai alternatives for small businesses
| Tool | Entry price | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| AdCreative.ai | $39/month (20 downloads), $20/month yearly | Ad variations sized for ad networks |
| Predis.ai | $19/month Core (1,300 credits, 1 brand) | Social posts and ads on a budget |
| Canva Pro | About $15–18/month for one person (third-party figures) | Full design control and every other graphic |
- Predis.ai is cheaper to start. Its pricing page lists Core at $19 a month with 1,300 credits; auto-posting starts on Rise at $40. Its trial is 3 days, also with a card required.
- Canva Pro is the choice if you want to design ads yourself with AI help and also need flyers, social posts and presentations. Canva's pricing page blocked our tools, so the price comes from Piktochart's 2026 breakdown.
- AdCreative.ai makes more sense than either when your main job is producing and testing paid ads, and you'd use Creative Scoring or competitor insights.
Who AdCreative.ai fits
- Ecommerce brands running Meta or Google ads that need fresh variations every week.
- PPC freelancers and small agencies juggling several client brands, where Professional's brand and user limits pay off.
- Teams without a designer that need sized, on-brand ads faster than they could make them by hand.
Who should skip it
- Owners who run a handful of ads a month. A design tool you already pay for is cheaper.
- Anyone who wants pixel-level control. Reviewers find the editing limited.
- People who don't want to hand over a card for a trial, or who know they'll forget to cancel.
- Budget buyers who need video. The clearest video features sit on the higher plans.
Is AdCreative.ai worth it?
For a small team that spends real money on paid social and needs many variations to test, it can be. The yearly Professional plan works out to about $0.42 per download, cheap next to designer time. For a business that needs a few ads a month, Starter's 20 downloads at $39 is expensive per ad, and a general design tool does more.
Before you start the trial, list how many ads you need a month, pick the smallest plan that covers it, and set a reminder for day 6. Pay monthly first; move to yearly only once you're actually using your credits.
